Carina & Brandon Come to vist

Last weekend was just wonderful. My Sister and her Husband came to visit and we had so much fun!

Ohh the brought Spartans Cousin Phrassy too! Spartan had so much fun but he is so tired. Saturday night we went to the fair and spent the whole night trying to figure out what to eat.

And we visited the Goats too!

This was the biggest goat we've ever seen!

Sunday we went to church and drove all over Oklahoma city! Hopefully they will move here in the next year and we will get to see them all the time!

Football Season

So football season is in full swing! It is something I look forward too every year. This last week consisted of so much football. First we started watching one of our friends 11 year old play football on Monday Night and then we enjoyed our 2nd week of High School Football- Go Santa Fe Wolves! One of our friends is a coach at Santa Fe.

Then Saturday night we watched OU at our house with some of our friends and then of course football all day Sunday!

WOW I love football! I love the history and the team spirit. I look forward to this time of year ever year- football lovers rejoice!

Positive Thinking

Positive Thinking is something you have to practice and work at daily. It does not come naturally to us but can make a huge difference in our life if we can do it all the time.
Thinking negatively does nothing healthy for your body. For instance when do think you are fat- it gives you a low self-esteem and makes you feel fatter than you really are. Also, our brains are not capable of understanding the difference between our thoughts and what is really going on. For instance if you think that you are getting fired, even though you’re not, your brain thinks you are so you go through the emotions of being fired.
Try it for yourself; think about someone you dearly love dying. How does it make you feel? I normally get tears in my eyes and a bad feeling in my stomach.
God wants us to have positive thoughts and not dwell in the negative, though it is hard it is something I work at daily and I hope you will too!
