The Big Day

On Jacob's actual birthday he went golfing with his brother and dad. That night we went to dinner with the family and then we went to his suprise party.

Us at Dinner

I had the cake made by Chef Shauna... She is amaizing- the cake tasted incridible.

The dice were actually made out of icing.

We had plenty of games to play.. GM, Dale Carina & Brandon are playing Bocce Ball
Thanks for all who came.. Just a few pictures....

Jacob's 30th Birthday Suprise Week

Well as most of you know I planned many suprises for my husbands 3oth birthday. They all turned out amazing.......
First, we drove to Dallas to stay with Mandy and Sam- him and Sam were of course very excited to see each other..
The next day we plaid Top Golf and then went to dinner....

That is Sam and Jacob...Kinda hard to see

Jacob trying to Win as always

The next Day we got up and Drove to the Woodlands to see Tommy and Sarah. Jacob really enjoyed getting to see Tommy.

Tommy and Jacob At the Market Square

The next morning we flew to Jamaica- of course like everything else Jacob didn't know where we were going until we got to the airport but he was excited about my choice. Jamaica was amazing.. we stayed at a resort that was less than a year old....

Marriage

We are doing a series at church called "The Vows". It is a very amazing series that truly reminds us what marriage means to God. Some of the things I want to share.

Marriage is a Covenant not a Contract...A contract is base on Mutual Distrust and a Covenant is based on Mutual Commitment.

Things to keep you marriage healthy...
God is #1 your Spouse is #2
We are to lay down our lives for our Spouse the way Jesus laid down his life for us.
You Marriage needs to be out the WE and not the ME

The vrs we focus on is "Glorify the Lord with me, let us exalt his name together. Psalm 34:3

Update

First I want to Say Thank you to The Sesslers for a wonderful weekend. We had so much fun with you this weekend. We are blessed to have such amazing friends.

Second, Mandy thinks I don't update my blog enough so I will try to work on that this month. She tagged me to a picture search where you go to your 4th folder and find your 4th pic in that folder.

My picture is one we took in October when we took our annual Family pictures- it is actually one of my favorites!

So now I get to tag 4 other people to play the game.

The Knox's
Many Meadows
The Ruhmans
The Solers

Directions:

1) Choose the 4th folder where you store your pictures on your computer.

2) Select the 4th picture in the folder.3) Explain the picture.

4) Tag 4 people to do the same.~No cheating (cropping, editing, etc.) Have fun!!

Third, Spartan is trying to make puppies! He spent the whole weekend at his new girlfriends house but we don't think "it" has happened yet. So we are going to have play dates for the next 10 days and hopefully we have some puppies.

Meet Bailey!

Her and Spartan are Definitely in Love!

Last, I am trying to make my dinner schedule for this week- anyone got any good- pretty healthy American meals? The reason I say American is because Jacob does not eat many vegies and is pretty much your typical American eater.

My Schedule this week
Monday- Work, Power Pump at lunch and Groceries
Tuesday- Work and I start beginning rowing class- hopefully I can make it through and move to the next level.
Wednesday- Work and Switch- which is our youth group at church- Jacob and I lead.
Thursday- Work and I start Inversion Yoga- little nervous about this because I hear you stand on your head a lot, which is kind of a phobia of mine.
Friday- Work, Yoga and my mom and sister are coming to visit- I am so excited!

Have a blessed week!

Thank God for my Pinky Finger

On Tuesday I went to the Dr and they put a brace on my right hand becuase my wrist has been hurting. As most of you guys know I type all day. It is impossible to use your pinky finger to type when in a brace so pretty much when I am typing my left hand is going to town while my right hand is struggling to find the keys. So today i thank God for my Pinky Finger- honestly it is amazing how many things it does.

What part of your body are you thankful God gave you?
